Grenville

Grenville is Grenada's second town, sitting on the Atlantic coast where a reef shelters a shallow bay, and it is the market centre for the eastern parishes with a Saturday market that fills the streets around the square. A nutmeg processing station operates here, one of the few left working after Hurricane Ivan destroyed most of the island's trees in 2004. Fishing boats work off the bay.

There is little for a visitor outside market day. The town is workaday and has almost no tourist facilities. Parking around the market is difficult.
