Annandale Falls

Annandale drops around ten metres into a pool in a bowl of rainforest above St George's, and it is the most accessible waterfall on Grenada, a few minutes' walk on a paved path from the car park with a garden of tropical planting along the way. The pool is deep enough to swim. Local divers jump from the rock beside the fall for tips, which is part of the visit whether wanted or not.

When to go

January to May is drier and the path is easier. Flow is strongest after rain in the wet season. Mornings are quieter before tour groups arrive.

Honest expectations

It is on every cruise ship itinerary and gets very crowded. Vendors and divers expect tips and the pressure is constant. The fall is modest compared to others on the island.
