Ehnen has kept its old core better than the other Moselle villages: a knot of narrow lanes and courtyard houses behind the riverfront, with the parish church at the centre, which is the only round church in Luxembourg, built in 1826. The village wine museum occupies an old winegrower's house with its presses, cellar and tools, and lays out the working year of a Moselle grower alongside a small vineyard.

When to go
April to October is the season; the museum closes for winter. Harvest in autumn is the liveliest. Weekdays are quiet.

The museum closes over the winter months. The village is small and an hour or two covers it. Parking in the narrow lanes is difficult.
