Haff Réimech is a set of former gravel workings beside the Moselle at Remerschen, flooded and left, which turned into the most important wetland in Luxembourg: reedbeds, open water and scrub used by migrating and breeding birds, with well over two hundred and fifty species recorded. A visitor centre, the Biodiversum, sits on an artificial island in the shape of a boat hull, and hides and paths run around the ponds.
