Victoria is the main settlement of Saint Mark, the smallest parish in Grenada, strung along the west coast road below the bulk of Mount St. Catherine with the sea on one side and the mountain rising behind. It is a working fishing and farming town rather than a resort, and it is the place trips into the northwestern interior are arranged from, including the walk to Tufton Hall. The road north from here runs on to Sauteurs and the top of the island.

When to go
Year round. January to May is drier for the interior walks arranged here. Fishing activity is heaviest in the early morning.
Honest expectations
There is little in the town for a visitor and it works as a base. Accommodation is very limited. The chocolate factory is the main formal attraction.
