The Prickly Pear cays lie about ten kilometres north of Anguilla, two low uninhabited islands separated by a channel, with a white beach and a seasonal beach bar on the eastern one and reef running around both. They sit inside a marine park. Boats run out from Sandy Ground for the day, and the snorkelling on the reef and the emptiness of the cays are what the trip is for.

When to go
December to April is the dry season and when the bar operates. Boats are cancelled in swell. Hurricane season runs June to November.
