Stockholm City Hall

Stockholm City Hall is the great brick landmark on the waterfront, a national-romantic building completed in 1923 to designs by Ragnar Ostberg, who won the commission in a competition after 1907, and crowned by a tall tower topped with three golden crowns. Inside, the Blue Hall hosts the Nobel Prize banquet each December and the shimmering Golden Hall glitters with millions of mosaic tiles, seen on guided tours.
