Anse à Ravenel
A cove on Langlade's west coast with cabins and a stream behind it.

The Anse à Ravenel is one of the coves on the western side of Langlade, a shingle beach in a break in the cliffs with a stream coming down behind it and a few summer cabins along the valley. It faces the Atlantic and takes the weather straight on. Boats come in from Saint-Pierre when the sea allows, which is a good deal less often than people would like.

When to go
June to September is the season the cabins are used. Boat landings depend entirely on the swell. Fog is common through the summer.
Things to know
Landings are frequently impossible and trips are cancelled at short notice. Cabins are private and the cove is not a public facility. There are no services of any kind on Langlade.
