Seven Seas Beach

Seven Seas is a public balneario on a sheltered bay on the northeast corner of the island, with calm shallow water, trees along the sand giving shade, and facilities including showers, kiosks and camping. Reef offshore gives snorkelling when the water is clear. It sits beside Las Cabezas de San Juan reserve and a trail runs from the beach along the coast to smaller unmanaged beaches further round.

When to go

December to April is the drier season. Weekends and holidays are very busy. Water clarity varies and is best in calm settled weather.

Honest expectations

It is a managed public beach with crowds and noise at weekends rather than a quiet spot. Parking is charged and fills early. Snorkelling here is modest compared with the offshore cays.
