Molimo Nthuse means God help me, which is what the road out of Maseru into the mountains was thought to warrant when it was first cut, and the pass at around two thousand three hundred metres is where the lowlands give out and the highlands begin in earnest. A pony trekking centre operates at the top. The road continues over further passes towards Thaba-Tseka and the interior.
