Rainforest Wild Asia

Rainforest Wild Asia, opened on 12 March 2025, is the newest of the Mandai parks, some thirteen hectares with 36 species, among them François' langur and the Philippine spotted deer shown for the first time in Singapore, and the habitat works vertically: animals are shown at different levels of the rainforest, from the forest floor up through the understorey to the canopy, with visitors moving between them. Alongside the animal habitats it offers physical routes, climbing structures and a cave section, which is a departure from the standard zoo model.

When to go

Year round; early morning is coolest. The adventure elements have height and age restrictions worth checking. Weekends and school holidays are busiest.

It is the newest of the Mandai parks and the planting is young. The adventure sections carry extra charges and restrictions. Combination tickets across the Mandai parks add up quickly.
