Fallen Jerusalem National Park

Fallen Jerusalem lies just south of Virgin Gorda, an uninhabited island of the same weathered granite as The Baths, and its name comes from the way the tumbled boulders read at a distance as the ruins of a city. It is a national park and a seabird nesting site, with a small sand beach on the northwestern side used as a landing. There is nothing on it and no facilities; boats anchor off and go in by dinghy.

When to go

December to May is the calmest for the crossing and landing. Nesting seasons restrict access to parts of the island. Hurricane season runs June to November.

There are no facilities, water or shade. Landing depends on conditions and is by dinghy. Nesting restrictions close parts of the island seasonally.
