Two Dollar Beach, properly Avaio, is a sand beach on Tutuila's eastern coast run by the village that owns it, with open fales along the back for shade, barbecue areas and a fee collected at the entrance that gave the beach its usual name, though the amount has risen since. The water inside the reef is calm and shallow. It is one of the few beaches on the island set up for use rather than simply existing.
