Geneve Bay Natural Pool
A rock pool on the wild east coast, reached by a rough walk.

Beyond Guana Bay on the east coast the shoreline turns rough and empty, and out along it at Geneve Bay a pool sits in the rock platform, filled and cleared by the sea coming over the edge, deep enough to get into when the swell is down. There is no road: you walk out along the coast from Guana Bay over rock and scrub, which takes about an hour.

When to go
December to April is the dry season. The pool is only usable when the swell is down. Mornings are cooler for the walk.
Things to know
This is dangerous when the swell is running: waves come over the platform. The walk is rough with no shade or water. Go with someone who knows the coast.
