Westerhall Estate

Westerhall in Grenada's southeast is an old sugar estate whose stone mill buildings and waterwheel stand in ruins in the grounds, with a small museum of estate equipment and household objects among them. The rum sold under the Westerhall name is blended and bottled here rather than distilled on site. The tour covers the ruins, the museum and a tasting, and takes about an hour. The estate ran on sugar and later cotton before rum became the only business left on the property.

Rum is blended rather than distilled here, which disappoints people expecting a working still. The museum is a jumble with little interpretation. The tour ends in a shop.
