Landhuis Dokterstuin sits on the main road west, a restored plantation house whose interest for most visitors is the kitchen: it serves the local dishes that are hard to find in tourist restaurants, stobá of goat, funchi, kadushi cactus soup, sopi mondongo, at prices aimed at people driving past rather than at tour groups.
