Casa d'Areny-Plandolit

The Areny-Plandolit family built their house in Ordino in 1633 and made their money from iron, running forges and holding a position in Andorran affairs across generations, and Guillem d'Areny-Plandolit led the reform of the country's institutions in 1866. The house is shown furnished: the kitchen with its hearth, the armoury, the library, bedrooms and the chapel, largely as it was used rather than reconstructed.
