Ninh Van Bay

Ninh Van is a bay on the peninsula north of Nha Trang, enclosed by hills with granite boulders running into the water, and its defining fact is access: there is no proper road, so everything arrives by boat, which kept the bay empty long after the coast around it developed and then made it attractive to resort operators looking for exactly that. Several high-end resorts now occupy stretches of the shore with their own jetties. There is a small fishing hamlet and a lobster farming operation in the bay. Day visiting is limited - most of the shore is resort ground.

Honest expectations

This is essentially resort coast and casual day visiting is not really provided for. Prices are among the highest in Vietnam. Boat transfers are weather-dependent. There is nothing else in the bay to do.
