Secret Harbour is a small sheltered bay on the east end of St Thomas where the reef starts within a few metres of the beach, which makes it one of the easiest snorkelling entries on the island and popular for shore diving as well. A resort sits behind the sand but the beach itself is public. The bay faces southwest, so it takes the sunset directly down the water.

When to go
December to April is the dry season. The bay is sheltered year round. Mornings have the best visibility before the water is stirred.
Honest expectations
The beach is small and gets crowded with resort guests. Parking is very limited. Coral here has suffered and is not what it was.
