Anse Georgette is a short curve of very pale sand between granite headlands at the northwestern corner of Praslin, with no development on it at all, and the complication is access: the land route runs through a resort's golf course and requires permission arranged in advance, since the beach itself is public but the way to it is not. Boats also land here. Turtles nest on the sand and the water is clear and deep close in.

When to go
April to October is the calmer window. Access must be arranged with the resort in advance. Turtles nest from October to February.
Honest expectations
Access through the resort requires arranging permission ahead and numbers are limited daily. There are no facilities on the beach. Swell in the monsoon can make swimming rough.
