Linkbelt Oval

Linkbelt Oval is where Nauru plays, a flat ground laid out on land the phosphate operation left behind, named after the conveyor equipment that once worked the area. Australian rules football is the national game here and the island fields a competition that draws most of the population out to watch. Matches are the main public event on Nauru and the ground fills for them. The ground sits on the western side of the island where the phosphate works were concentrated.
