Buada Lagoon

Buada Lagoon lies in a depression in the interior of Nauru, a small, slightly brackish lake ringed by coconut palms, breadfruit and banana trees and the gardens of the surrounding district, the greenest corner of an island otherwise dominated by its coast and the mined interior. The lagoon was traditionally used to raise milkfish.
