Beauport is a small cove on the southwestern coast between headlands, reached by a path from a clifftop car park and then a set of steps down, and because of the walk it stays quieter than the larger bays on either side. The sand is pale, the water is clear and rocks at both ends give some snorkelling. There is nothing at all on the beach: no kiosk, no toilets, no lifeguard.

When to go
May to September is the beach season. The path is slippery when wet. The cove faces southwest and holds the afternoon sun.

There are no facilities of any kind on the beach. The path and steps are steep in both directions. It still fills on the best summer days.
