Kambadaga is a set of falls on the Kokoulo river near Pita, dropping in three stages over sandstone ledges into pools, with the largest drop running a considerable distance in the wet season and reducing to a trickle by the end of the dry. The gorge below holds gallery forest. It is one of the better known falls of the Fouta Djallon and the track in is rough.

When to go
July to October is when the falls run hardest, but the tracks are worst then. November to January gives access with reasonable flow. By April the fall is much reduced.
Honest expectations
Flow and access pull in opposite directions: the best water is in the season the roads are worst. The track in needs four wheel drive. There are no facilities.
