The Skywalk sits on the ridge of the Rock at around three hundred and forty metres, a platform with a glass floor cantilevered out over the eastern face, built on the base of a wartime gun position and opened in 2018. From it Gibraltar, both coasts, the strait and the Moroccan mountains are visible on a clear day. Standing on the glass with the drop underneath is the point.

When to go
April to October is the mild season with the clearest air. Levanter cloud on the Rock closes the view frequently. It closes in high wind.

The Levanter cloud that forms over the Rock closes the view often, sometimes for days. It closes in wind. Access requires the Nature Reserve ticket and it gets crowded on cruise days.
