Somerset Village sits at the western end of Bermuda, a small settlement of shops and houses around a main street with the water never far on either side, and it has always been the quiet counterweight to St George's at the other end of the island. The Railway Trail passes through it, the ferry from Hamilton calls at the wharf, and Somerset Bridge and Fort Scaur are both a short distance away.
