Hadicurari, known as Fisherman's Huts for the shelters that stood on it, sits north of Palm Beach on Aruba's leeward coast and is the island's windsurfing and kitesurfing ground: shallow flat water inside, steady trade wind across it and the space to run. International competitions are held here. The beach itself is narrow and the interest is entirely what happens on the water.

When to go
May to July is the windiest and the competition season. The trade wind blows year round. December to April is the dry high season generally.
Honest expectations
The beach is narrow and there is little to do on it if you are not on the water. Equipment hire is expensive. The water is busy with sailors and swimming among them is unwise.
