The shelter at Diana's Vow farm near Rusape carries a painted panel that is among the best known in the country: a large reclining figure surrounded by smaller human and animal forms, painted in red and white, with an unusual composition that has been read in many ways and settled in none. The paintings are attributed to San communities and are of uncertain date. The shelter is on private land reached by a farm track.
