Buyé is a short crescent of pale sand on the Cabo Rojo coast with clear shallow water, reef offshore that keeps it calm, and a line of sea grape and palms right behind the beach giving shade, which is rarer on this coast than it should be. It is a family beach used mostly by Puerto Ricans rather than visitors, busy at weekends and quiet during the week.

When to go
