Palooza Land

Palooza Land is a privately run park on the edge of Marrakech built round a dinosaur theme - full-size animatronic models set along walking trails through landscaped grounds, with a small fairground of rides, a dodgem area, a rope course, a play zone and food outlets, along with occasional dinosaur shows for children. It is not connected to the palaeontology of Morocco, which is significant and is properly represented at Erfoud and in the Rabat museum; this is entertainment. What it is good for is a specific thing: families travelling with small children in Marrakech run out of options quickly, since the medina is hard work with a pushchair and the historic sites are not aimed at five-year-olds, and this fills that gap for an afternoon. It is on the ring road towards the airport and needs a taxi. Expect a commercial park with the standard pricing on rides and food.
