Kfardebian Natural Bridge
A large limestone arch spanning a gorge near the Faqra ruins, formed where a stream cut under the rock.

A short walk from the Faqra ruins, a natural limestone arch spans a small gorge where the stream has cut through and under the rock, leaving a bridge around thirty-eight metres across and a similar height above the water. It is one of the larger natural arches in the region. Paths lead to viewpoints on both sides and down into the gorge below, where the stream runs strongly in spring and dries back in late summer.

When to go
May to October is the season; snow covers the area in winter. Spring gives the strongest water flow under the arch. Summer afternoons often cloud over.
Things to know
The edges are unfenced and the drop is significant. The path down to the gorge is steep and loose. There are no facilities and no signage at the site.
