Cap Estérias is the point where the coast north of Libreville turns, a mix of sand beaches and rock shelves exposed at low tide with fishing boats working from the shore and small restaurants along the road behind. It is where people from the capital go at weekends. At low water the rock platforms hold pools worth looking into, and the Arboretum Raponda Walker lies on the road out from the city.
