Petrin Hill rises green above the Lesser Town of Prague, a wooded park of gardens and orchards crowned by the Petrin Tower, a sixty-metre lookout built in 1891 as a miniature echo of the Eiffel Tower. Reached by a funicular railway, its climb gives the finest panorama over the red rooftops, spires and castle of the city.
