Dolni Morava

Dolni Morava was a quiet village at the foot of Kralicky Sneznik until a private resort was developed here from the 2000s, and it now holds two structures that draw visitors from well beyond the region. Stezka v oblacich, the Sky Walk, opened in 2015: a looping timber and steel ramp rising fifty-five metres above the ridge with a tube slide down the centre and a view over the Jeseniky. Sky Bridge 721, opened in May 2022, is a suspension footbridge seven hundred and twenty-one metres long hanging about ninety-five metres above a valley between two ridges - the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world until 2024, when Hungary's Bridge of National Unity at Satoraljaujhely beat it by two metres. It moves noticeably under load, which is part of the point and the reason some people turn back. There is a cable car, a ski area, a bobsleigh run and a mountain resort's usual apparatus around them.

Honest expectations

The bridge sways and it genuinely puts people off - anyone uneasy with heights should think about it first. It closes in wind and lightning. Tickets are timed and expensive, and the resort is heavily commercial.
