The cave is a limestone chamber whose roof has collapsed at one point, and a stream falls through that opening - about ten metres of water dropping into a pool inside the cave, lit from above by the hole it comes through, which is what makes it worth the effort. Getting there means a jeep out of Jardin and then a walk of around a kilometre and a half that is steep and muddy in both directions, on private land, with a guide required and numbers limited. Swimming in the pool is possible and cold. The route has been closed at times when the landowner and the municipality have disagreed about access and management, so it is worth confirming it is open before arranging the trip.
