Maundays Bay

Maundays Bay is a curve of white sand at Anguilla's western end, fronted by Cap Juluca, whose white domed buildings in a Moorish idiom have made the bay one of the most photographed in the Caribbean. The water is shallow, calm and very clear, and Saint Martin sits across the channel to the south. The beach itself is public even though the resort occupies the whole frontage.

When to go

December to April is the dry season and high season. Hurricane season runs June to November. Sunsets here face across the channel.

Honest expectations

The resort occupies the entire frontage and non-guests get little in the way of facilities. Prices at the resort are among the highest in the region. Access parking is limited.
