The market at Fagatogo is a covered hall on the harbour front where taro, breadfruit, bananas, coconuts and fish are sold, mostly by growers from the villages, and it functions as the territory's main produce market and a gathering point. Buses stop outside. It is busiest very early in the morning and on Saturdays, and it winds down through the day. Craft and clothing stalls occupy part of the space.
