Deep Dive Dubai

Deep Dive Dubai opened in 2021 and holds around fourteen million litres of fresh water in a shaft reaching 60.02 metres, recognised by Guinness as the deepest pool for diving in the world. The water is kept at thirty degrees, so no wetsuit is needed, and the shaft is dressed as a flooded city with apartments, an arcade, a garage and a foosball table at different levels. Scuba, freediving and try-dive sessions all run, and a viewing area and restaurant look into the pool.

When to go

Year round; the building is indoors and climate controlled. Sessions must be booked well ahead and popular slots go quickly. It closes for maintenance periods that are announced in advance.

Honest expectations

It is expensive and everything must be booked in advance; walk-ins are not accepted. Certified divers need to show qualifications and a medical declaration. The deeper levels are open only to those with appropriate certification.
