- Return greetings from strangers on the street - acknowledging people is normal here

- Dress neatly for evenings out - presentation is noticed and appreciated

- Walk around town in beachwear - cover up once you leave the sand
- Rush service - shops and restaurants run on island time and conversation comes first
- Expect much open on Sunday - church and family take precedence
- Turn up underdressed if invited to church - Sunday best is meant literally
💡 Worth knowing
- The Eastern Caribbean dollar is pegged to the US dollar and US cash is accepted nearly everywhere - expect change in EC
- Many restaurants add a 10% service charge - check the bill before tipping again
- Driving is on the left and taxi fares are set by route - confirm the price before you get in
