- Take off shoes in homes
- Greet hikers on trails, strangers in cities less so
- Buy alcohol at Vinmonopolet before Saturday evening - it closes and Sunday is dry

- Tip beyond rounding up - staff are properly paid
- Expect small talk with strangers - silence is comfortable here
