Worth knowing
- The lempira is the currency and cash rules outside big-city malls
- Baleadas - folded flour tortillas with beans and cream - are the cheap meal everywhere
- Sunday is family day; many businesses close and towns go quiet
- Lunch is the main meal, taken roughly 12:00-14:00
