- Accept a sauna invitation - it is genuine hospitality, and cooling off outside is part of it
- Take off shoes in every home
- Queue with generous spacing - a Finnish queue looks socially distanced by default
- Enjoy silence in company without filling it

- Make small talk with strangers expecting sustained enthusiasm
- Wear swimwear in single-gender saunas - it is a towel culture
- Tip - it is not expected anywhere
